in crock pot (low): 1 gigantic yam, peeled and cut into smallish chunks 3 chicken breasts, cut into chunks palm oil, lots of it (market across from j&j) 4 cloves chopped garlic 1 rounded tsp minced garlic (spice world kind) 1 large onion, chopped 1 red hot pepper (african), chopped (market across from j&j) brown sugar/splenda mix, lots of it kosher salt, lots of it, added directly to yam chunks pepper, lots of it, fresh cracked ginger paprika chili powder cumin, pinch butter, 1 stick lemon juice, 1 tsp corn starch slow cook 8 hours, adding 4 cups water after 1st 4 hours or so
